As our capitalist society continues to find ways to blur the boundaries between the virtual and the physical spheres, I believe that our discipline of architecture should not arbitrarily circumscribe its oracle solely to the built, physical environment.
 
Especially during this time, when the pandemic is forcing, rather than encouraging, a mass migration from physical to virtual engagement, designing built environments and these intersecting mediums as a whole has never been more relevant.
