Project 4 - Student Community Plan
this plan was communally arranged & designed by the students
student work inter
Our students started with their very own perceptions,
Andrea's memory of returning to her hometown in Mexico after being away for so long
zoe's imaginary childhood memory called
the bubbleland
and interpreted a locus both in the virtual and the physical sphere
Turner's Blender model
Then, these space-times were shuffled by a curriculum board game.
Via the game, students encountered their neighbors,
engaged in spatial negotiations,
met their charactors,
and learned what it means to confront the imminent challenges of our built environment.
Board Game Round 1
Space in your memory colliding with your classmate.
Student Works - Week 6
Spatial & communal negotiation
Student Works - Week 3
First digital translation after Blender & Rhino tutorials
After our students learned disciplinary knowledge via the boardgame paired with a set of tutorials, students curated their very own syllabus for the final projects.
Our students communally agreed on what they wanted to try for the finals, and they worked diligently in designing a small-scale exhibition/living space.
